Caramel

Super easy to make and very versatile.

1/2 c butter
1 lb brown sugar
1 c light Karo syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
Combine the first four ingredients; boil until it reaches soft boil stage. Add vanilla.

For caramel apples- cover the apples (I made about 11 1/2)
For caramel popcorn- pop 3 gallons of popcorn and pour caramel over it. I found mixing in a large brown paper sack works best.
For caramel pretzels- 1 recipe makes 40-45 pretzels
