Brownies

(My preferred way to make brownies is a mix from Sam's/Costco.)

1/2 c butter
1 c white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder

Frosting:
3 TBS butter
3 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder
1 TBS honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 c powdered sugar

1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x8 pan.
2- In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 c butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, baking powder. Spread batter into pan.
3- Bake 25-30 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK!
4- To make frosting- combine ingredients and stir until smooth. Spread while brownies are still warm.

(I just sprinkled ours with powdered sugar.)
