Blueberry Cake

This is such a good cake. It is a very thick batter and is like a muffin/cake. My brother, Steven who does not care for cake ate this. Fresh blueberries are the best to use.

1/2 c butter
2 c sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 1/4 c flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp soda
1 c milk
1 pint fresh blueberries

In a large mixing bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs. Add cream of tartar and soda. Add flour and milk in slowly while beating. (This is a big cake) Once flour and milk are in, slowly fold in berries while rolling batter with large spoon.

Pour in 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Brush with butter once taken out of the oven.

Mix 1/2 c melted butter with 1-2 tsp cinnamon. Add sugar (approx 1/2 cup) slowly until it becomes spreadable on top of cake. Let cool before serving. The topping will get hard when it sets up.
