1 Pkg yellow cake mix
1/2 c butter
1 egg
Filling:
1 can (1 lb or 2 c pumpkin)
2 1/2 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs
2/3 c milk
Topping (1 c reserved cake mix)
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c butter
Grease bottom of 9x13 pan.
Measure 1 c cake mix. Set aside. Combine remaining cake mix, melted butter and eggs. Blend. Press into bottom of 9x13 pan.
Combine all filling ingredients until smooth. Pour over crust. Combine all topping ingredients. Sprinkle over filling. Bake 350 for 45-50 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve warm or cold with cool whip.
