These taste a lot like Texas Sheet Cake, but really good!
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Flour
2 Squares Butter
5 T Cocoa
1 Cup Water
½ Cup Buttermilk
2 Eggs
½ tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp Vanilla
Nuts (Optional) 1 cup chopped
Mix sugar and flour in a bowl. Combine cocoa, butter and water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture into sugar and flour and mix well. Add milk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bank at 375 for 20 minutes.
Cooked Fudge Frosting
1 square Butter
1/3 Cup Milk
4 T Cocoa
4 cups powdered sugar
(Nuts if desired)
Boil the first three ingredients. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Beat to desired consistency. Frosting will set as it cools.
