If you have left over Turkey or Chicken in the house, these are GREAT! They also freeze very well for leftovers.
(Makes 16 meal size roll-ups or 32 appetizer size)
1 package cream cheese- room temperature
2 cups of turkey/chicken shredded
3-4 stalks of celery
salt/pepper to taste
4 containers of crescent rolls OR bread dough rolls OR puff pastry sheets
2 eggs + 2 tsp water mixed together
bread crumbs
Mix the cream cheese, turkey, celery and salt/pepper together. If using the crescent rolls, two rolls will be for one roll-up. place 2 TBS of turkey mixture on one side and fold over pressing the sides together to seal. Dip in the egg bath and then the bread crumbs. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes. They will be golden brown when done. Serve with gravy on top.
