Hot Fudge Sundae Cake

2 c mini marshmallows
1 chocolate food cake mix, mixed but not baked
1 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c cocoa
3 1/2 c boiling water
1 c chopped nuts

Cover bottom of 9x13 pan with marshmallows. Pour cake mix batter onto marshmallows. Mix brown sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over top of cake. Pour boiling water all over brown sugar mixture. Don't stir. Sprinkle water layer with nuts. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Serve hot with ice cream or whipped cream.
