I got this recipe from NaDene Simmons. I love the almond flavor in it!
1 1/2 C. Butter Flavor Crisco
3 C. Sugar
1 C. Milk
1 tsp Soda
1 ½ tsp salt
4 tsp. Baking Powder
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. Almond Extract **
7+ Cups flour
Cream Shortening & Sugar. Add beaten eggs & Almond extract. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. May be dropped or rolled. Bake 375°° 10 minutes.
**Can use 1 Tbsp. Vanilla and 1 Tbsp. Lemon Extract in place of Almond flavorin
